Enjoy the privacy on the beautifully green island of Vis

This modern villa is situated in a private settlement called Ženka, located in the southeastern part of the charming, beautifully green island of Vis. The location of this villa provides absolute privacy, as it is on one of the quiet parts of the island with no hotel complexes and resorts. The closest grocery store and restaurant are 1 km away.

A local baker delivers fresh bread and pastries daily straight to the house and there is also a greengrocer delivering fresh fruit and vegetables every day and a fisherman delivering fresh fish every week. With just a 10 min. drive (9 km) you can reach the city of VIS (harbour) complete with shops, open air markets, a fish market, restaurants, bars and cafes, an evening promenade and a rich choice of cultural and sports activities. At a distance of 17 kilometres you can find the second and ‘last’ city on the island – Komiža . Originally a fishing village, it has grown into a beautiful historic town with stunning architecture and ancient harbours.

Distance to the sea

The villa is located directly by the sea. The garden leads into a stony beach where there is comfortable private access to the sea down steps leading from the dock. The water depth at the access point is about 1.5 m. The crystal clear water makes it perfectly suitable for snorkelling and to take in an interesting view of the underwater world. The islands protect the site from the open sea and provide a smooth sea surface ideal for swimming and other water sports.

Other sandy and pebble beaches are within a walking distance of 5km and 12 minutes. The villa offers views of the enchanting seascapes from each bedroom – and directly from the bed itself.

While equipping the villa we did not forget the little ones. In the main part of the house you can find a playground for children – including a children’s table and chairs as well as lots of toys. The outdoor pool makes it possible to play water games all day. Beaches with safe and easy access to the sea, located in the neighbourhood of the villas, are ideal for children.
